LSLB | SSL Certificates

This section lists all of the certificates that are stored on the appliance and can be used by LSLB farms. These certificates are primarily SSL certificates, which can be either uploaded or created using the Certificate Signing Request (CSR) generator or the Private Enhanced Mail (PEM) generator.

When generating a certificate, you must provide the following information:

Common Name: A single hostname or a wildcard name for wildcard certificates.
Type: The type of certificate, either Certificate or CSR.
File: The name of the certificate file, with the .pem or .csr extension.
Issuer: The Certificate Authority (CA) that issued the certificate. This field does not apply to CSR files.
Status: The current status of the certificate, which is indicated by a color:

  • Green or Valid
  • Red or Expired
  • Yellow or will expire soon

Creation: The date on which the certificate was activated. For CSR files, this is the date on which the file was created.
Expiration: The date on which the certificate will expire. This field does not apply to CSR files.

Important Notice!
To download or delete a certificate, click the checkbox next to the certificate and then click the Download or Delete button.

The following actions can be used to manage certificates for LSLB farms:

  • Upload a certificate: Opens a form for uploading a certificate in PEM format.
  • Generate CSR: Opens a form for creating a CSR file.
  • Generate PEM: Opens a form for creating PEM certificates.
  • Download: Downloads the selected certificates in PEM format.
  • Download Key: Downloads the RSA private Key inside the selected certificates.
  • Delete: Deletes the selected certificates.
