Update LSLB farm profiles
You can change and update the configuration of LSLB farm profiles in this section. Each farm profile has different parameters because it manages traffic through different layers of the OSI model.
There are two types of views available in the Global Settings:
- Basic: These are general parameters related to the farm profile. You can change basic settings like the farm name (only if the farm is stopped) and the virtual IP address and port where the farm is handling incoming traffic.
- Advanced: These are additional parameters related to the farm profile. You can change settings related to traffic behavior here.
Global Settings for L4xNAT Farm Profile
The L4xNAT farm profile lets you create a layer 4 LSLB farm with very high performance and many more concurrent connections than layer 7 load balancer cores, like the HTTP farm profile. However, it does not support the advanced content handling that the layer 7 farm profile can manage.
Additionally, the L4xNAT farm profile can bind to a range of ports, not just a single virtual port like the layer 7 farm profile.
Global Settings for HTTP Farm Profile
This profile manages content switching at the layer 7 HTTP application delivery layer for both HTTP and HTTPS protocols.
To update the settings for an LSLB farm profile, go to the corresponding settings configuration page:
